Why FLOWER POWER 🌸

varför FLOWER POWER 🌸

I have created and am currently creating a collection with FLOWER POWER..

it's a great expression coined by Ginsberg. Here are some facts

"Flower power" refers to a counterculture movement from the 1960s and 1970s focusing on peace, love, and non-violent resistance, symbolized by the flower. It was coined by poet Allen Ginsberg and is associated with the hippie culture's rejection of war in favor of pacifist values.

The term also describes the movement's associated fashion and has been embraced by modern brands for products like plant nutrients or seeds.

Peace and love: At the core of the "flower power" movement was the belief that war was wrong and that love and peaceful living were the path to freedom.

Hippie culture: The ideology was most strongly associated with the hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s.

Non-violent resistance: Protesters used positive actions, such as offering flowers to soldiers, as a form of protest against war and conflict. Individuality and rebellion.

The movement also expressed a spirit of individuality, rebellion, and freedom through fashion and lifestyle.

"Flower power" continues to influence fashion, with styles characterized by bold floral patterns, flowing silhouettes, and vintage charm.
